“My father foresaw that setting up business in KSA and Dubai would be strategically beneficial to the group. Subsequently, along the years and thanks to his business acumen, AGE Group has grown quickly along with the GCC.”
– Asim Ghayoor Siddiqui

Ghayoor Siddiqui

Much of the company’s success can be attributed to the company founder, the late Ghayoor Siddiqui, whose tireless efforts in developing a loyal and skilled workforce, matched with his keen financial and international trading insight, established enduring ties for AGE Group, with employees, suppliers, end-users and premier banking institutions alike.

Mr. Siddiqui began his illustrious career in the world of banking in 1961, working for United Bank Ltd in both Pakistan and the UK. To his credit, he loyally worked for United Bank until 1975, helping them to establish many international branches in Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates during his term of service.

Eventually, recognizing the market demand for structural steel in the GCC, Mr. Siddiqui decided to venture into the steel trade business as an entrepreneur. Thus, AGE Group came into existence in 1974, and has been steadily growing ever since.

Sadly, Mr. Siddiqui passed away on March 11th, 2002, leaving behind a significant legacy. His business methodology and prowess established profound operational trademarks to which the company still adheres today.

Mr. Siddiqui is missed by everyone in the company and will always be appreciated for his efforts in making AGE Group a successful enterprise. We do our best to follow in his footsteps and live up to his vision of promoting a high level of professionalism and team spirit, for the benefit of the whole organization.

Ahmed Aamir – Sales and Import Manager

The late sales and import manager, Ahmed Aamir, joined AGE Intrade in 1980 and handled sales and import clearance formalities. He was a very hard-working individual and loyal employee, who inspired all those around him. The company felt a great loss at the passing away of Mr. Aamir in 2002 and would like to express that he is, and always will be, sorely missed.
